We currently have an opportunity for Domicilliary Care Assistants who are compassionate and adaptable to join our Domiciliary Care team for service users in Liverpool, Merseyside and North West England. 

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for an individual who is:

• Capable of providing a high quality, professional service of care to our clients.
• Will treat our clients with dignity and respect.
• Will enable clients to remain in the community, to be supported and maintained safely in their own home and thereby enhance their quality of life.
• Capable of promoting independence for our service users and help them gain or maintain a healthy lifestyle in their own home.
• Able to support our service users to maintain relationships with family, friends, neighbors. Support them with maintaining familiar activities and surroundings, providing and promoting social contact, especially for service users who live alone.
• Able to encourage clients  individuality and independence.
  Able to treat others as individuals with unique and diverse needs.
• Able to assist our service users with all aspects of care, including personal care, end of life care, and nutritional help.
• Experienced in recording care entries on care plan system and keep up to date records.
• Able to support clients  to eat and drink.
• Able to build good rapport with service users so as to comfort, assist and give reassurance to them when needed.
• Able to work in a team and assist other care workers and professionals to provide care for our service users.
• Able to assist our service users with tidying, cleaning, laundering and other domestic tasks when needed.

Skills / Experience

• You need to be someone that is experienced in working with vulnerable adults.
• You need to be someone who enjoys working with adults who are vulnerable and need supporting in their day to day lives.
• You need to be an individual who is able to have empathy towards our service users.
• You need to be able to work in a team and be willing to take on any task to provide an excellent service to our service users. 
• You need to be well-organised, adaptable and practical
• You need to have excellent communication skills (Verbal, Listening and Written)

Hours

Full and Part time Shifts available.
